Covers the whole double bed
I thought king size was overkill, but it is enough for both of us and hangs down the sides. Heavy in a nice way.

“So big that both of us fit under it on the sofa.”
Washing and care
Machine wash, gentle cycle. Hang to dry or tumble dry on low heat. Wash it separately the first time.
Snödrivan
Someone’s feet always end up sticking out
Most sofa blankets are made for one person sitting still. As soon as someone curls up next to you it turns into a tug of war, and whoever loses gets cold feet.
Snödrivan covers a whole double bed or two people on the sofa, and it is heavy enough to stay put when you fall asleep.
Side effects others have reported: a sudden reluctance to go out, and more evenings on the sofa than planned.
It reaches the floor
Laid over an armchair, it hangs all the way down. Over a double bed it covers both sides, and it is heavier than a fleece blanket, so it does not slide off when you turn over.
Bubbles, not fleece
The faux fur is sewn in rounded squares that look like a snowdrift, hence the name. The underside feels smooth against the skin.
Compared with an ordinary fleece blanket
The figures come from the supplier’s data sheet. Measure it yourself when it arrives, and send it back if they do not match.

Softer than in the pictures
The bubbles are really soft and it does not leave fluff on the sofa. The cat has already claimed it.

A well-received present
Gave it to my dad, who is always cold. He has it over his legs every evening. A bit big for his armchair, but he is not complaining.

Just as fluffy after washing
Washed it after a few weeks following the washing instructions and it came out just as fluffy. Arrived well packed.

Worth every penny
Have had it on the sofa since the first Sunday of Advent and it has not lost its shape. Thick and heavy in the right way.

Best present this year
Bought two, one for me and one for my daughter, who is studying in Umeå. She sent a photo of herself under it the same evening.

Big and soft
Exactly as described. It takes up a bit of room in the washing machine, so I wash it on its own.

Warm without getting too warm
I am always cold in the evenings. With this over me, a thin jumper is enough.

Looks more expensive than it was
Lies over the bed when it is not in use and looks like something from an interiors magazine.

Lovely but big
Soft and good-looking. It really is king size, so measure your sofa if you want it to lie neatly.

The whole family under one blanket
Four of us fit under it in front of Donald Duck on Christmas Eve. That says it all.

A blanket is the hardest present to wrap
Big, soft and without straight edges. Julsnittet cuts the paper straight in one stroke, so you end up with a present you are not embarrassed by. You get two for £12.
